The Red Suitcase goes on an adventure

Up to this point in my life I have had a lot of adventures; however, never before have I written about them before. A young lady by the name of Cora Sharma introduced me to blogging.... so that in itself will be an adventure.

I just purchased a big red suitcase, a red shoulder bag and a red carry on, and for good measure a red raincoat. I think the world should see me coming (at least I will not get lost in a crowd). A girl friend of mine by the name of Gwen was going on a trip overseas and would at the end of her trip stop in Amsterdam for 10 days. When she told me that, I so much wanted to go and meet her there. Well no sooner thought about it was done. I am leaving this Friday (March 26th) from the Vancouver International Airport and flying to Amsterdam. My red suitcase and I are on our first adventure togther. My dear husband Art does not get to go on this adventure as alas it is tax time. I think my niece Janet can related to one's partner enduring tax time

Tonight I started the Job of packing the red suitcase. I read the paper work from KLM and guess what I am limited to one suitcase and 50 lbs. Wonder if I can do this ??? Hmmm have to actually pack less than 50 lbs. as I am sure I will want to bring some keepsakes home. I swore to Art I would buy nothing as we have this rule in our house that if we bring something new home an old thing has to leave. Wonder what old thing might have to go? I will need to ponder this one. (Art is getting a little nervous).
